Project Description

The Water Project is one of the key community development initiatives under Alban Islamic Primary School Limited, aimed at improving access to safe and clean water for schools, households, and surrounding communities. The project responds to the critical need for reliable water sources, especially in areas where access to clean water is limited or unsafe. Through the construction of boreholes, water tanks, wells, and water distribution systems, the project ensures that communities have sustainable access to safe drinking water. It also supports hygiene and sanitation in schools by providing clean water for handwashing, cleaning, and other daily needs, helping to reduce waterborne diseases and improve overall health. In addition to infrastructure development, the Water Project promotes awareness on proper water use, hygiene practices, and environmental conservation. Community members are trained on maintaining water sources to ensure long-term sustainability and shared responsibility. The project serves all people regardless of faith or background, reflecting the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and humanitarian service. By improving access to clean water, the Water Project contributes to better health, improved school performance, and enhanced quality of life across communities in Uganda.
